One of the biggest perks to the latest version of the GFI Cloud is its new user interface. Those who haven’t logged in through the GFI Cloud for some time will be in for quite a surprise as they explore the new look and feature enhancements. The updates are a result of GFI’s aim to simplify the management and security of the network, Wake explains.
“Our refreshed user interface makes it easier to see the state of your network at a glance. At the same time we have added a new dashboard and improved the network view, to simplify day-to-day management of your IT operations. Now you can see all network and security issues in one intuitive dashboard, so you can easily see what needs your attention first.”
In allowing IT managers to prioritize activities to meet their specific needs, this advanced feature will surely be advantageous. Additionally, the network view also for a quick view of all devices in quarantine as well as those that haven’t reported in or are experiencing failing monitor checks.
These updates to GFI Cloud include improvements in the way devices and services are added. For example, there is now a faster and simpler method for downloading and installing GFI Cloud from one location and adding services with access to a multi-select feature. With TeamView integration, admins can also remotely connect to workstations and servers directly from the GFI Cloud console to ensure faster resolutions.
