Monitis' All-In-One Server Monitoring Solution Provides Night and Day Differences for Elite Email
By Madhubanti Rudra TMCnet Contributor
For an e-mail marketing firm such as Elite Email, it’s vital to ensure consistent server performance to maintain client satisfaction. This, of course, calls for round the clock performance monitoring of services so that any potential degradation can be identified before it causes downtime, and thus, customer dissatisfaction. Having experimented with a slew of monitoring solutions, Elite Email made the right decision in selecting a cloud-based monitoring solution from Monitis, a company acquired by GFI Software last year.
This all-in-one solution from Monitis will help Elite Email to better monitor mission critical applications and maintain server performance all over the world. By being able to constantly monitor backend Web applications, the company will be able to proactively detect any anomaly as they occur, rectifying them instantly to achieve a consistent and enjoyable server performance.
“We've used a number of monitoring solutions in the past, but our experience with Monitis has shown that it is much more in line with our business model because it enables us to see very granular performance data around the world at all times so that we can better serve our customers and demonstrate our investment in their success,” explained Robert Burko, president at Elite Email.
“The solution's dashboards provide real-time detailed insight about anomalous behavior rather than simply letting us know if a server is up or down. This immediate view into each server's health allows our teams around the world to immediately identify and address issues that come up at any time, day or night.”
Additionally, Monitis' customized alerts enable the company to notify the right employees in various regions when a problem is encountered, helping to quickly and easily avoid delays in action. Even more, Monitis' transaction monitoring capabilities help automatically simulate the end-user experience and report back when online processes fail, providing an additional layer of granular monitoring.
Sometimes server related issues originate with the local ISP. Monitis is able to blow these concerns out of the water, as it can quickly determine whether it is just a local ISP issue or if Elite Email's servers are truly down, which again helps address the issue in a more timely fashion.
“Monitis customers rely on us for fast, reliable service that allows them to have a deep, holistic view into the status of their networks, servers and cloud applications,” added General Manager at Monitis, Hovhannes Avoyan in said statement. “By simplifying monitoring and automating tasks that were previously seen as too time-intensive to be practical, we can allow our customers to focus on achieving their core business goals and providing the best services possible to their customers while having the peace of mind that they will be a step ahead of any performance issues that arise.”
Monitis also recently revealed the results of a new survey, which found that 56 percent of consumers who spend more than two hours per week shopping online have canceled an order due to an error or slow response time. To stress the importance of optimal network monitoring performance, the survey also explored typical online shopping habits, factors that are considered when choosing an online vendor and behavior when confronted with retail websites that are not functioning correctly.
