Aculab Cloud Debuts at ITEXPO East
By Michelle Amodio TMCnet Contributor
Cloud Communications Expo sponsor Aculab just released the latest in its telephony offerings at ITEXPO (News - Alert) East this week. Aculab Cloud, the new deployment option from the computer telephony provider, has taken all that was essential and familiar with traditional telephony systems and put it on a hosted, on-demand platform as a service.
The new Aculab (News - Alert) Cloud solution makes it simple to create on-demand telephony applications without the need of a specialist or fancy equipment. With high-level APIs, applications are easily developed in a lot less time using Python.
Aculab Cloud also implements application call logic, including transferring calls, playing messages, mixing calls together in a conference and playing text-to-speech prompts. A User Application Server (UAS) manages and executes telephony applications and allows users to choose where said applications run, be it locally or in the cloud.
“The Aculab Cloud service provided my company with the ability to quickly develop and deploy a stable and scalable voice broadcasting system. Our previous internal systems were limited in capacity, but with Aculab Cloud we are able to consistently handle a much higher workload from our clients,” said Andrew Maillet from BLI Messaging in a press release.
“Aculab Cloud is a robust, scalable and cost-effective service that wraps all the complexities of integrating telephony resources into an easy to use platform,” said Faye McClenahan (News - Alert), Aculab’s Head of Strategic Marketing. "Built on Aculab’s telephony heritage and expertise, Aculab Cloud lets all manner of telephony-centric innovations to be created and deployed as on-demand services.”
